What is keyboard

KEYBOARD

A keyboard is the main input device used to input data and instructions into the computer. There are four main types of keys on the keyboard :

1.. Typing keypad: It includes all character symbols (A-Z).

2. Numeric keypad: It includes number keys from 0 to 9.

3. Function keys: They. are 12 keys, from F1 to F12, for performing special tasks. . Fig. 1.3: Keyboard

4. Editing keypad: it comprises of insert, delete, backspace, page up, page down keys, etc.
