What is E-waste ?

E-Waste is a short form for Electronic Waste which at times is also called E-scrap
or Waste electrical and Electronic Equipments (WEEE). This consists of discarded materials and components from all . types of electrical and electronic ' gadgets which include Televisions, Refrigerators, Computer, Game Consoles Processor Units, Mobile Phones, Compact Discs, Lighting Equipment ,Air Conditioners, Washing Machines, Digital Video Recorders, etc.

Due to rapid developments and ever changing trends most of the electronic and electrical
equipments become obsolete and outdated with in a short span of time Sometimes because of their inferior quality these gadgets get damaged thus becoming useless and have to be discarded.
